Who is behind town’s mystery sign invasion?

You may have seen in the latest copy of the Barrhead news; signs have been appearing all round the town. It’s a mystery who’s been making these signs and putting them up, but as the paper quoted one Barrhead resident; “I suppose they help to brighten the town up if nothing else and it makes the drive to work a bit cheerier.”

Have you seen the signs?

International Women’s Day

Saturday saw a day of activity in Barrhead for International Women’s Day. The days events were held at the Carlibar Primary School and included stalls as well as demonstrations and workshops for all ages.

The women of the Dunterlie Dancing Feet gave a demonstration of the line dances they do and some of the women from the One All team went along to join them.

The day was a great success and the line dancing went down very well. We managed to remember all the moves! Thank you to all the organisers and the Dunterlie Dancing feet ladies for inviting us to join in.

Signs Appearing!

Keep an eye out around Barrhead, signs will be appearing. Coming soon!

Let’s Get Intense!

Monday the 23rd of February saw the beginning of the second intensive week with Barrhead High school!

The first intensive week was a brilliant opportunity for the young people at Barrhead High to experiment with different working disciplines (text, music, design, movement and media) and choose the one which best suited their interests, learning styles and talents. This intensive week will be a chance for the groups of young people to work alongside the artists involved in the project in creating material for One All in their specific working areas. Great things are expected!
